First, I’d like to thank everyone for their positive emails and comments. We have been so caught up in the last-minute details of the Confidence In Context program, that we only just approved all your comments from the last blog post. So if you commented there you will now be able to see your comment on the post.

In the last week, we have also been swamped by emails asking more questions about the course. Again, I apologize that due to the sheer number of emails received, I haven’t been able to answer each one individually. However the two main questions currently are “when is the course going to be released?” and “how do I join?”

We haven’t yet announced the official release date. However, we will announce this very soon… and you can expect to see the course going live this month. Keep an eye on your email in coming weeks for more details.

You can join by being one of the first 200 people to apply. People who are on the “priority notification list” will get the first chance to apply. After that if there are any positions left they will be offered to people who are not on the “priority notification list”. If you are one of the many who signed up during our official survey you can relax - you are on the priority notification list already.

If you are not on the priority notification list, you can join now by filling out the form on the main website here:

Priority Notification List

Finally, we have recorded a free vocabulary mp3 for you. Although this is not part of the Confidence In Context Course and does not contain any laser-targeted conversations, it DOES show you specific techniques that you can use - even if you don’t get into the Confidence In Context course. For those who do get in, it will act as a good introduction and a primer on the motivations for creating the course.

The last time we tried to give a large audio book to 20,000 people for free, we had so many people downloading at once that it brought our servers down. So this time we are using the MediaFire service. This should ensure uninterrupted downloading. Feel free to share this with your friends via the social links (under share) on the download page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Since we announced Confidence In Context, we have been literally flooded with questions and requests for more information. First I’d like to thank everyone for their interest and apologize sincerely for not being able to answer you all individually.

That said, I have personally read every email and question we have received - and it’s been a really enjoyable experience doing so. This post aims to answer the most common questions. If you require any more information, please feel free to leave a comment below or email me directly.

Can anyone join this program?

Yes. And No. Let me explain: Initially we are only opening this program to 200 platinum members. Only current customers and subscribers will be eligible to apply for one of these positions. Currently we have only setup the infrastructure to serve 200 subscribers. We think it’s only fair that we give our loyal Ultimate Vocabulary customers and mini-course/video subscribers first priority.

In short, if you are receiving emails about Confidence In Context it means that you are a registered subscriber and you are eligible to apply. Platinum members will also receive special bonuses and be “grandfathered in”…. meaning they will receive free lifetime updates to the course. We may open a more basic version of the course to the general public at a later date. However, we will only be offering 200 platinum memberships and once they are gone they will be gone forever.

We will do our absolute best to offer all 200 positions. However, the most important thing is to make sure we can give our platinum customers the highest level of service and training. Therefore we reserve the right to reduce this number. We may do this if we feel it’s necessary in order to give existing members the best experience possible. This program is not for the “masses”. It’s an exclusive program that will only be offered to a limited number of members.

Who is the target audience of this program?

Have you ever learned a powerful word, but felt that you weren’t quite confident enough to use it in a conversation? Have you ever had the perfect word on the “tip of your tongue”, but when it popped into your head, the opportunity to use it was gone? Have you ever had trouble remembering new words, or learned a new word, only to forget it when you needed it most?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then Confidence In Context is definitely for you. We don’t just teach you the words. We make sure you are confident using them in the correct context. The program teaches powerful vocabulary words that are ideal for:

  • Business are career success for English speakers
  • Improved confidence, communication and persuasion abilities
  • Improved academic results, and better writing
  • Improved scores in standardized tests such as the SAT and GRE
  • Intermediate to advanced ESL students.

Because the program teaches English words that are very powerful, we don’t recommend the program for people who are just beginning to speak English as a second language. However, it will work perfectly for anyone who has conversation-level English.

Is this program recorded in American English?

Yes this program is written, recorded, and produced in the USA. All voices and accents are North American.

How exactly does Confidence In Context teach me to use words in context?

Here’s exactly what you experience during a Confidence-In-Context audio-coaching session:

  1. Ultra-Deep-Descriptions – First you are introduced to your target words with ultra-deep descriptions. Note that these are much more than just definitions. These descriptions are specially designed to help you soak up your target words as quickly and efficiently as possible. By the time you have finished your Ultra-Deep-Descriptions, you have already have gone deeper than any other audio program takes you… but this is just the beginning…
  2. Laser-Targeted Conversations – Next, you are exposed to extended laser-targeted conversations. Conversations with powerful communicators actually using the words in context. These are far from regular conversations. Rather, they are designed to zoom in on your target words with laser precision, triggering the natural word-learning process in your brain.
  3. Immersion Tests – Finally, you are given a special memory boosting tests to ensure your target words are deeply embedded in your memory. These tests function as a final revision. They also boost your confidence as you see how quickly you have learned your new words.

How long does the course last?

Because Confidence In Context is a monthly program, many people have asked “how long will it last”. The answer is simple: as long as you like! Confidence In Context is an ongoing training program. We teach you for as long as you want to improve your vocabulary. You get new training materials each month including 70 minutes of audio training, a printable workbook, and printable flash cards. There is no minimum subscription period and no contract. You can unsubscribe at any time.

What results can I expect?

You can expect to have dramatically improved communication skills within a month of starting the program. The aim is to put you in the top 5% of verbal communicators by training you to use new powerful words in context each month. Not only will you learn hundreds of new words, you will learn to use them fluently and confidently in real conversations, email, writing, and presentations.

How much time will I need to dedicate to this program?

Any amount time you dedicate to this program, no matter how little, will benefit you greatly. However, we recommend putting aside 15 minutes per day to work on your vocabulary with Confidence In Context. The audio training is broken up into convenient 10-15 minute chunks so you can learn at your own pace.

How much will this program cost?

Right now you are probably thinking that Confidence In Context is going to cost a small fortune. And the truth is that we could charge a LOT for this course because it’s many times more comprehensive than courses that cost $200-$300 and more. However, one of our aims is to make this program affordable and accessible to everyone who genuinely wants to improve their vocabulary. Therefore, the cost of Confidence in Context will be only $24.95 per month - that’s just over 80 cents per day! This was also one of the reasons we made it a monthly program - there is no large up-front commitment. You can improve your vocabulary for as long as you like and then simply unsubscribe.

Why is this a monthly program?

Improving your vocabulary is not something you just do once and forget about. It’s an ongoing process that needs guidance and support. Through our experience of helping more than 20,000 people improve their vocabulary, we have found that ongoing motivation is a major challenge that many people face.

With Confidence In Context you have constant guidance and support to help you achieve amazing results. Before you know where you are, you’ll look back and realise just how much your vocabulary and communication power has improved as a member of Confidence In Context.

The other advantage of a monthly program is that it makes improving your vocabulary more affordable than ever. We don’t ask for a large up-front fee. You only invest a small subscription each month and you can stop whenever you like.

Can I listen to the training on my IPod or MP3 player?

Each month your materials are delivered to you on an Audio CD. Each months training also comes with an “Unlimited Mp3 Licence”. This means that you can transfer the CD to your IPod or other digital device as many times as you like - without restrictions. When you sign up for the course we give you detailed instructions on how to put the material on your digital device. Confidence In Context is compatible with both Mac and PC based devices.

Does this program complement Ultimate Vocabulary Software?

Ultimate Vocabulary software is not in anyway necessary or required in this program. However, Ultimate Vocabulary owners will be happy to know that Confidence In Context can work very well with Ultimate Vocabulary software.

Confidence In Context is a monthly audio-based training program that focuses on using powerful words in context. Ultimate Vocabulary is a powerful tool that provides multiple learning strategies and allows you to keep track of custom word lists. Both programs will be valuable to anyone serious about powerful communication.
